SOTERweb is a cloud-based Integrated Workplace Management System, supplied as software as a service (SaaS). It focuses on the more difficult parts of managing health and safety, assurance, assets and estates, fire safety and contractors across large, complex organisations.
In use since 2008, it has been designed, built and refined with direct input from the higher education sector.
Universities are our main client group, followed by NHS trusts and other healthcare organisations, fire and rescue services and the wider public sector.
Why SOTERweb
Spreadsheets, paper and a separate product for each area make it hard to work consistently, see what is overdue or know who is on site. SOTERweb puts it all on one platform, with standard workflows, automatic scheduling, exception dashboards and global action tracking. Contractors’ insurances, accreditations and induction status are checked automatically at the time of entry. SOTERweb helps you plan, record and evidence your statutory inspections and actions, with a date-stamped audit trail and Power BI reporting.
SOTERweb is one standard product that each client sets up through its own settings. Bespoke development, Power BI training and extra reports are charged separately.
Every system comes with unlimited users and all updates, and implementation is hands-on and fully managed, with a single point of contact. SOTERweb is built on Microsoft technology and hosted in UK data centres, and we are certified to Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001.
Built into every module
Whichever modules you use, the same features come with them: datasets you configure yourself, without development work; mobile and tablet screens; automatic scheduling; dashboard tiles that turn red when something needs attention; date-stamped action tracking; over 250 automated emails and reminders through Outlook; Power BI reporting; and Microsoft single sign-on. In many modules you can also scan a QR code on a door, asset or building to open the right record. Inspection results and condition updates are written back to one central asset register.
