RISK ASSESSMENT

The Risk Assessment module is an intuitive and robust digital tool designed to help organisations produce, review, and manage risk assessments in line with recognised standards and best practice. It brings structure and consistency to the risk assessment process, while offering flexibility to adapt to local needs.

 

At the heart of the module is a centralised library and workspace, where assessments can be created, stored, and managed. A key feature is the system-generated Activity Risk Rating, which intelligently combines multiple risk factors to suggest an overall risk rating—while still allowing the Assessor to moderate the outcome, ensuring the final rating reflects the specific context.

 

To support governance and control, risk assessments can be configured with flexible editing states: Locked (read-only), Unlocked (freely editable), or Unlocked with approval required. This allows organisations to tailor their workflow based on the nature of the assessment and the level of review required.

 

Access rights for viewing, editing, and approving assessments are managed through a robust permissions system, ensuring that only authorised individuals can make or approve changes. The module also includes comprehensive version control with full date and time stamping, providing clear audit trails and accountability throughout the lifecycle of each assessment.

 

Integration with Microsoft Power BI supports real-time reporting, giving organisations visibility across departments and ensuring consistent, high-quality outputs.
